Wakeland had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Turner on Tuesday. The Wakeland Wolverines never let the Turner Lions get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering the Wolverines have won 15 games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Wakeland's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-0-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five contests. As for Turner, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9-6.

Wakeland will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on March 21st. Wakeland's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Centennial's offense will have their work cut out for them. Turner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
