Football Recap: Rock Springs Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The Eagles were dealt a 36-6 loss at the hands of the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars on Friday. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-0.

Tyler Keith produced another solid performance throwing for 158 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 passes for Creekside Christian Academy. Those five passing touchdowns gave Keith a new career-high.

Rock Springs Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Creekside Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Rock Springs Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Towns County at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Creekside Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 41-13 defeat against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy on the 24th.
