Basketball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was the 44-34 winner over Grady when they last played one another back in January of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Highland Hornets fell to the Grady Wildcats 30-24. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Highland's record now sits at 8-7. As for Grady, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Roby at 11:00 a.m. on December 31st. Grady will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Loop at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
