Basketball Recap: Aundray Fowler's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Amsterdam over Hudson Falls

After flying high against Schuylerville last Tuesday, Amsterdam came back down to earth. The game between the Amsterdam Rams and the Hudson Falls Tigers didn't end well, with the Amsterdam Rams falling 65-49. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 71-58.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aundray Fowler, who posted 16 points along with six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rocco Natale, who scored ten points.

The defeat snapped Amsterdam's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record. As for Hudson Falls, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Amsterdam didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-43 win against Gloversville on the 25th. Hudson Falls has also already played their next game, a 53-48 loss against Queensbury on the 25th.
