Cody is 0-7 against Campbell County since May of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. The Broncs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Camels at 4:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Cody after they put the first runs on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Thunder Basin, falling 12-2.

Cody saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camri Lindemann, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Campbell County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They blew past the Broncs 13-6. The Camels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by seven runs or more this season.

Lanae Kimbley was a standout: she scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Maty Muffie was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Campbell County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .317 or higher in seven consecutive games.
