Volleyball Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss

Cosby lost against Midlothian back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans lost 3-0 to the Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, 25-17.

Merynn Chavis paced Cosby's offense, picking up eight kills. Chavis got some help from Jamalynn Ross and her nine assists. Ross also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaci Richardson, racking up three apiece.

Cosby now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Midlothian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cosby will square off against rival James River Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Midlothian is set to challenge their familiar foe Monacan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
