Volleyball Recap: Edgewood Takes a Loss

Edgewood was the 3-0 winner over Madison Memorial when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Edgewood now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Madison Memorial, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 4-13 record.

Looking ahead, Edgewood will square off against Madison East at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison Memorial, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Homestead on the 27th.
