Recap: Lincoln County Lynx vs. Moapa Valley Pirates
The Lincoln County Lynx's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Moapa Valley, falling 68-30. Lincoln County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-13.
Lincoln County's loss came despite strong showings from Kaylyn Segler and Emma Bleak. Segler scored 8 points along with 3 steals, while Bleak scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Andie Wood was on fire for Moapa Valley: she scored 27 points along with 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Cox, who scored 15 points.
Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Moapa Valley, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Lincoln County's road trip will continue as they head out to face American Heritage Academy at 4:30 p.m. on December 5th. As for Moapa Valley, they will be playing at home against Dixie at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Dixie focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Friday.
