Football Recap: Stroudsburg Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Stroudsburg South last Friday, Stroudsburg came back down to earth. The Mountaineers took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pleasant Valley Bears on Friday. The Mountaineers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Stroudsburg's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Pleasant Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

As of now, neither Stroudsburg nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
