Basketball Recap: Pawnee Heights Comes Up Short

Pawnee Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meade Buffaloes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 56-36 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Pawnee Heights' loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Meade, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Pawnee Heights will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bucklin at 6:30 p.m. on February 4th. Meade also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against Hodgeman County at 6:30 p.m. on February 4th.
