Volleyball Recap: Cannelton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cannelton had lost five straight at home, but on Monday they dropped down to 3-10 to make it six. They lost 3-0 to the Rock Creek Academy Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Jaliyah Little paced Cannelton's offense, picking up nine kills. Little got some help from Abigale Jones and her six assists. Arianna Hulse controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

As for Rock Creek Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-18. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 20th (when they won 3-0).

Rock Creek Academy can attribute much of their success to Khloe Lowe, who had 31 assists and three aces. That's the most aces Lowe has posted over her last six contests.

Cannelton has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Tell City on the 23rd. As for Rock Creek Academy, they will take on Medora at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
