Basketball Recap: Richards School for Young Women Leaders Takes a Loss

Richards School for Young Women Leaders lost against Anderson on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Richards School for Young Women Leaders were dealt a 79-10 loss at the hands of the Anderson Trojans. The contest marked Richards School for Young Women Leaders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Anderson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooke Fuller out in front who went 7 of 13 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and three steals. That's the most points Fuller has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Swanson, who went 7 for 10 on her way to 21 points.

Richards School for Young Women Leaders dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Anderson, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-11.
