Volleyball Recap: Comsewogue Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Comsewogue Warriors came up short against the Smithtown East Bulls on Friday, falling 3-0.

Comsewogue took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21, 25-23.

Smithtown East was led to victory by Sadie LaPresti and Player #28. LaPresti had six digs and two aces, while Player #28 had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces LaPresti has posted over her last eight contests.

Comsewogue's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Smithtown East, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Comsewogue and Smithtown East will both be playing Hauppauge the next time they take the court. The Bulls will host the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
