Basketball Recap: Lakewood Presbyterian Takes a Loss

Lakewood Presbyterian lost against Wylie Prep Academy back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights lost 46-20 to the Patriots.

Reagan Armstrong was Lakewood Presbyterian's leading scorer, having posted six points. Alice Escobar held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds.

Lakewood Presbyterian's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wylie Prep Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Lakewood Presbyterian and Wylie Prep Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Knights see the court they'll take on Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 8. As for Wylie Prep Academy, their break will end when they face Coram Deo Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
