Basketball Recap: King's Fork Falls Short Against Ranked Norfolk Christian

On Saturday, King's Fork faced Norfolk Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The King's Fork Bulldogs took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors.

Norfolk Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abuna Ruop, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Christal Harris, who posted 11 points and three steals.

King's Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Norfolk Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
