Soccer Game Preview: Riverside vs. Stone Bridge

Riverside is 0-5 against Stone Bridge since March of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Ram will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Riverside lost 6-1 to Independence on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Riverside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Independence are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Stone Bridge kept a clean sheet against Potomac Falls on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Panthers 1-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Riverside and nudges their season record down to 5-3-2. As for Stone Bridge, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
