Riverside-Brookfield got themselves on the board against Elmwood Park on Monday, but Elmwood Park never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 14 games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Riverside-Brookfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Elmwood Park, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-18.

Looking ahead, Riverside-Brookfield will host Glenbard South at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.63 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Elmwood Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Ridgewood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rebels have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
