Soccer Recap: Orosi Find Success

Orosi kept a clean sheet against El Diamante on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the El Diamante Miners, sneaking past 1-0. Jonathan Nemecio had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Cardinals.

Orosi's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8-2. As for El Diamante, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Orosi duke it out with the Sunnyside at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Sunnyside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. After both having extra time off, El Diamante and Monache will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. El Diamante's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
