Volleyball Recap: Boswell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Crowley on Tuesday, Boswell came back down to earth. The Pioneers lost 3-0 to the Weatherford Kangaroos on Friday. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Kangaroos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Boswell was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Boswell still got an impressive performance from Brooklynn Williams, who had 13 assists and six digs. Williams has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Boswell's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Weatherford, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Boswell is set to take on their familiar foe Mansfield Legacy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Weatherford will challenge rival Mansfield at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
