Soccer Game Preview: Schaumburg Christian vs. Mooseheart

The Schaumburg Christian Conquerors will head out to face off against the Mooseheart Red Ramblers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Schaumburg Christian's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Schaumburg Christian is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family on Monday. Neither the Conquerors nor Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Davin Malstrom and Zadio Sabwa scored both of Schaumburg Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Mooseheart managed to keep up with Indian Creek until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Red Ramblers lost 4-1 to the Timberwolves. Mooseheart just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

With that draw, Schaumburg Christian's record moves to 10-2-1. As for Mooseheart, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Schaumburg Christian beat Mooseheart by a goal in their previous meeting on September 4th, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquerors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
