Football Recap: Amite School Center Skates Past Discovery Christian with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centreville Academy, Amite School Center was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 54-0 win over Discovery Christian. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rebels considering their six-point performance the match before.

The victory got Amite School Center back to even at 1-1. As for Discovery Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Amite School Center will head out on the road to face off against Park Place Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Discovery Christian, they will host McAdams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
