Basketball Recap: Madyson Brennan's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lake George over Galway

Lake George suffered their closest defeat since February 9, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the Galway Golden Eagles by a score of 35-33. While the Lakers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Golden Eagles 11-7 in the first quarter.

Several Lakers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Madyson Brennan, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 45.5% of Lake George's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Mykah Collier-Fisher, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.
