Basketball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 64-50 fall against the Oglethorpe County Patriots. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Commerce's record now sits at 6-13. As for Oglethorpe County, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 4-11 record.

Commerce will welcome Banks County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oglethorpe County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rabun County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
