Baseball Recap: Lake County Comes Up Short

Lake County lost against Greenfield back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Lake County lost 15-1 to Greenfield. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sawyer Roberson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one triple and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season.

Lake County's loss dropped their record down to 2-13-1. As for Greenfield, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

While Lake County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
