Volleyball Recap: Springstead Eagles vs. River Ridge Royal Knights

Springstead had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the River Ridge Royal Knights by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (87-86) Springstead actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 11-25, 25-19.

Springstead's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for River Ridge, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 14-7.

Springstead does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for River Ridge, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Weeki Wachee on the 9th.
