Soccer Game Preview: Tonasket vs. Cascade

The Tonasket Tigers will take on the Cascade Kodiaks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Tonasket will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Chelan, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Mountain Goats on Monday.

Meanwhile, Cascade had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bears. Given Cascade's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Brewster are ranked 106th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tonasket's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Cascade, their win bumped their record up to 8-1-1.
