Baseball Recap: Susquehannock Comes Up Short

Susquehannock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the New Oxford Colonials. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Colonials from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Susquehannock saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Coleman, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Susquehannock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for New Oxford, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

When Susquehannock and New Oxford next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Warriors will take on Kennard-Dale and their three-game winning streak at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, New Oxford will try to stop Dallastown's six-game winning streak when they meet at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Colonials 2.8, the Wildcats 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
