Baseball Recap: Western Christian Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Western Christian and Kennedy have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Pioneers came up short against the Trojans, falling 15-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss on Wednesday.

Western Christian's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Kennedy, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 13-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Western Christian will face off against rival Colton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kennedy is set to square off against their familiar foe Salem Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
