Soccer Recap: Greenbrier East's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After soaring to ten goals the game before, Greenbrier East was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Hill Red Devils. Greenbrier East were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Oak Hill apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Greenbrier East fell to 3-1-1. As for Oak Hill, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenbrier East will venture away from home to square off against Musselman at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oak Hill, they will head out to take on Woodrow Wilson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
