Volleyball Game Preview: Brooks Eagles vs. Chicago Washington Patriots

The Brooks Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Chicago Washington Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Brooks came up short against Solorio and fell 2-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Sun Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Chicago Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Amundsen.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18.

Chicago Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Brooks, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Brooks couldn't quite get it done against Chicago Washington when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
