After a string of three wins, Arlington's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the North Rockland Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Arlington started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.

Amelia Giorgi paced Arlington's offense, picking up 13 kills. Giorgi really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 19. Caroline Urso controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 13-9-3. As for North Rockland, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Arlington has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against St. John's Prep on the 18th. As for North Rockland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Ketcham on the 18th.
