Nokomis has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mt. Olive recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Redskins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Nokomis has five straight victories, Mt. Olive has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Nokomis beat Sullivan 40-36.

Meanwhile, Mt. Olive played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 74-31 loss at the hands of Calvary. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-10.

Nokomis will have to keep a close watch on David Schoen and Dexter Frizzo, a pair of players who had a big impact on Mt. Olive's prior game. Schoen went 5-for-10 to rack up 16 points, while Frizzo posted seven points.

Nokomis' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Mt. Olive, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for Nokomis against Mt. Olive in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 53-20 victory. Do the Redskins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
