Southwest Guilford entered their tilt with Page on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Pirates 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cowboys also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Southwest Guilford never let Page on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-16.

Neala Bateson paced Southwest Guilford's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bateson got some help from Trystan Harris and her 17 assists. Bateson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Southwest Guilford's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Page, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southwest Guilford will square off against rival Dudley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Page is set to challenge their familiar foe Grimsley at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
