Volleyball Recap: McDonough Takes a Loss

McDonough's tournament run continued when they took on Rockmart on Saturday. The Warhawks fell 2-0 to the Yellowjackets. The Warhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9.

Rockmart's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Avery King led the charge by getting four digs and three aces.

McDonough's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Rockmart, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

McDonough has already played their next game (against Haralson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rockmart, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against LaGrange on the 23rd.
