Volleyball Recap: Mira Loma Finds Home Court Redemption Against West Campus

There's no place like home for Mira Loma, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They skirted past the West Campus Warriors 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Matadors have posted since March 18, 2024.

Mira Loma had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 23-25, 25-16, 26-24, 15-11.

Their offense was headlined by Jaydin Saechao Chanhthavichith and Rayhan Mullah, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They were helped by Kapilan Karunakaran and Abel Caza, who contributed 23 assists each. Jaxon Doell and Derek Brown kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
