Volleyball Recap: Mascoma Takes a Loss

Mascoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fall Mountain Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Mascoma's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Fall Mountain, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Coming up, Mascoma will head out to challenge Kearsarge at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fall Mountain, they will take on Merrimack Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
