Basketball Recap: Hernando Leopards vs. Springstead Eagles
If Hernando was feeling good fresh off their 48-16 takedown of Hernando Christian Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hernando Leopards lost 52-28 to the Springstead Eagles on Friday. The Leopards have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Hernando saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aislin Ruppe posted 13 points.
