Volleyball Recap: Alameda Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Alameda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Arvada Bulldogs. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Alameda was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-20, 25-13.

Liliana Casias paced Alameda's offense, picking up five kills. Casias got some help from Camila Ortiz and her four assists. Ortiz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Alameda's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Arvada, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Alameda by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.
