There's no place like home for Sidney, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Walton Warriors on Wednesday as they made off with a 16-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Team in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Quinton Beckwith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, Sidney got a big performance out of Riley Finch, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double was Finch's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jaxen Swain, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Sidney's record now sits at 6-4. As for Walton, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.
