Shadow Mountain had lost three straight at home, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 9-16-1 to make it four. They lost 17-9 to the St. Mary's Knights. The Matadors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

Alex Forkum made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
