Basketball Recap: Harding University Comes Up Short

Harding University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 68-42 to the Hopewell Titans. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 51-39.

Hopewell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JUNE WALLACE, who went 6 of 13 on her way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of MOLLY HOWE, who went 6 for 9 en route to 14 points.

Harding University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hopewell, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12.

Harding University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 74-14 loss against North Mecklenburg on the 28th. As for Hopewell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 82-33 defeat against Mallard Creek on the 28th.
