Baseball Recap: Rifle Takes a Loss

Rifle managed to slip by Glenwood Springs the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears came up short against the Demons on Wednesday, falling 11-1. The contest marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rifle saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quentin Kramer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Rifle and nudges their season record down to 8-5. As for Glenwood Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

The timing is sure in the Demons' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Skiers have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
