Volleyball Recap: Maple River Takes a Loss

Maple River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the St. Clair Cyclones, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since August 26th.

Maple River's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14-1. As for St. Clair, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Maple River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Sargent County on the 23rd. As for St. Clair, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Le Sueur-Henderson on the 25th.
