Soccer Recap: St. Augustine Triumphs

St. Augustine's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the San Pasqual Golden Eagles out 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Saints were the better team in the second half.

St. Augustine now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Augustine will be taking part in a tournament against Miami Beach at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miami Beach's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so St. Augustine's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for San Pasqual, they will face off against University City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. University City will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something San Pasqual surely won't give up without a fight.
