Logan came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-1 to the Boyd County Lions. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Logan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lacy Curry, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. Addison Starr also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Boyd County, they pushed their record up to 13-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Logan will square off against St. Vincent-St. Mary at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boyd County, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lakota East at 11:00 a.m. The Lions are facing the Thunderhawks at the right time seeing as the Thunderhawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
