Volleyball Recap: Garner Takes a Loss

Garner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Graford Rabbits. If the Longhorns were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Rabbits when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Makayla Gonzalez paced Garner's offense, picking up 12 kills. Gonzalez got some help from Kaylin Long and her 18 assists.

Garner's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Graford, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garner will take on Poolville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Graford, they will face off against Legacy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
