Volleyball Recap: Avalynn Johnson and Charlee Phillips Secure Win for Trinity

Trinity extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Owen. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Warhorses. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Trinity was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 24-26, 25-23.

Trinity was led to victory by Charlee Phillips and Avalynn Johnson. Phillips had 12 digs and one assist, while Johnson had four digs, two aces, and one block. Johnson has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 51 times she's played.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Owen, they moved to 20-2 with that loss, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.

Trinity has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Union Academy on the 23rd. Owen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
