Basketball Recap: Pine Bluffs Hornets vs. Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers

After flying high against Moorcroft last Saturday, Pine Bluffs came back down to earth. The Pine Bluffs Hornets came up short against the Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers on Saturday, falling 56-36. The Hornets were probably out for revenge after losing 64-51 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lingle-Fort Laramie was led to victory by Brady Cook and Brody Roberts. Cook dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Roberts went 9 of 16 on his way to 20 points and seven boards. Roberts' afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Ned Nelson was another key player, putting up eight points.
