Football Recap: Aurora Central Comes Up Short Despite Jameel Jeffery's Big Defensive Game

Aurora Central played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 37-14 to the Thomas Jefferson Spartans. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Although Aurora Central took the loss, they still got scores from Felix Morales and Markell Perkins.

Even if they lost, Aurora Central's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jameel Jeffery.

Aurora Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Thomas Jefferson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Aurora Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 59-0 loss against Northfield on the 25th. As for Thomas Jefferson, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-7 victory against George Washington on the 23rd.
