Soccer Recap: Central Aroostook Falls Short Against Ranked Easton

Central Aroostook faced Easton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Easton this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 two weeks ago.

Central Aroostook's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Easton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Aroostook will face off against Washburn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Aroostook will be up against Washburn's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.29 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Easton, they will welcome Madawaska at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
